More Information About . . . the Riverview Branch Library
The Riverview Branch Library is located just west of Highway 301 on Riverview Drive across from Stower's Funeral Home. Nestled among stately oaks, the 8,000 square foot building sits on 1.75 acres of rustic land. Adding to its setting is a stream that winds its way behind the library.

Riverview's library began in a bus and was originally called Riverview Station. The driving force of the Riverview Library Association, Inc. combined with the Gardinier Corporation's donation of land formerly used as a worm farm turned dreams of a public library in Riverview into reality. The current building opened in 1979 amidst much community pride.
